Erik Sellfors is the Broker/Owner of Cambridge Homes. Since 1987, he has represented home sellers and buyers throughout Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Humble and dedicated to providing the highest customer service, his firm uses the latest technology and marketing to bring the highest value to its' clients. Typically, his client's homes sell for a higher value and shorter time.

At eight years old, he began flipping homes and managing rentals with his parents.  He started his career in 1987 during his sophomore year in college by working for Merrill Lynch Realty.  He recognized early on that real estate was his passion.  He joined Marcus and Millichap commercial real estate in 1989.He focused on selling large apartment buildings and retail centers.  In 1993 he became the assistant manager of Coldwell Banker in Woodland Hills.

Erik joined RE/MAX in 2002 and became one of their top-producing agents.  In 2007, Erik was awarded the “Chairman’s Award” signifying outstanding sales production.  In 2008, he was the #1 agent in Simi Valley, the 5th largest producer in the country, and 11th worldwide.  He was awarded the prestigious “Diamond” award given to very few associates each year.  In 2008 Erik was inducted into the RE/MAX “Hall of Fame.” In 2009, he received the honorable “Lifetime Achievement” award.  Erik owned the franchise from 2008 to 2023.

In early 2023 Erik opened Cambridge Homes.  Recognizing that consumers typically dislike the process of having to hire a salesperson who may not have their best interest at hand, the firm was developed by highly seasoned veterans who put the firm's clients first above all else.  This breeds a culture of honesty, humility, responsibility, and values at the forefront of every decision.  Hiring the brightest marketing geniuses in the business ensures that the firm's clients are exposed to more buyers creating higher sale prices in shorter times.  Every effort is made to deliver a white-glove full-service experience.

Erik is a member of numerous industry associations, including the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the Conejo/Simi Board of Realtors.

In 1992, in addition to selling homes for his local clients, Erik was hired to sell bank-owned foreclosed homes for a national lender. Over the last 30 years, Erik has been hired by many of the nation's largest banks, including Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase, and numerous hedge funds, to assist them in the sale of their foreclosed/REO assets. Erik is an approved Fannie Mae direct broker.

Because he is so familiar with the foreclosure process, Erik has been trained to assist homeowners who may be falling behind on their payments and facing foreclosure.  His training includes numerous certifications, including the CDPE designation.  Erik is certified to counsel homeowners on options such as asking their lender to allow a sale to occur for less than what is owed.  This is often referred to as a Short Sale.

Erik is the California Master broker for the NRBA.

He serves on the board of NADP (formerly REOMAC) and chairs their legislative and advocacy committee.

Erik also serves on the LGRC committee of his local board of Realtors.

While at San Diego State, he raced on the ski team.  Skiing remains a passion today, and he regularly skis Mammoth with his family.  Growing up on the beaches of Southern California, he became a swimmer and loved to surf.  He took up racing in triathlons in 1986 and competed in the Ironman in 2001.  Flipping homes continues to be something that he is passionate about.
